How can we reset Pager.CommFail other than having to re-start the process?

When the phone line is removed from the modem Pager.CommFail is activated and is not reset after the phone line is reconnected and another pager alarm is activated and dialled out successfully. We must restart the process for it to be reset.

Hello,
I looked into your question, and a fixed Pager object has already been created for Lookout 5.1 that should clear up the issue you are seeing with the CommFail data member. The fix consists of copying a new pager.cbx file to your Lookout 5.1 directory. I would suggest making a backup copy of your current pager.cbx file prior to replacing it with the fixed version.

If you are using a version of Lookout prior to 5.1, then this fixed pager.cbx may work for you, but it may not. If this is the case, I would recommend trying this cbx file, but definitely keep a backup of the original cbx file since there is a chance that the newer version cbx file may not work correctly with an older version of Lookout.

This fixed file can be downloaded in the lo51_fix
es.zip file, from ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/lookout/fixes/5.1/

I have also attached the fixed pager.cbx file to this post for your convenience.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if there is anything I can help with or clarify.
