I am trying to write a boolean to enable Lookout (ver 3.8) to go offhook and maintain a modem connection to a remote Koyo Plc.

I am using Lookout Ver 3.8 and Offhook does not seem to be a data member off the DL 205 driver. It shows up in the Help menu but not on the driver data member list. Currently I am able to connect to the remote. It polls, updates the data once and hangs up. Lookout will then repeat this.

I believe that your OFFHOOK is part of your MODBUS Data members. (From Lookout Help)When TRUE, this flag instructs the Modbus object to retain exclusive use of its assigned communication port.

Thanks Ollie
Is there a way to accomplish the same thing with the DL 205 Driver?

Hi Jessy,

The latest version of Lookout, 5.0, has the OffHook function available for the DirectLogic PLCs. I believe it was also available in 4.5. Not sure if upgrading the whole package just for this functionality is an option for you. Thought you should know tho'.
