Suggestion is to use a dedicated system such as Windows Backup, Acronis TrueImage, etc. to create an automated backup to a seperate device (network storage, usb drive, etc.).
We create a folder on the root (example: c:\Forshock). Inside we create sub-directories (c:\forshock\hmi\processes, c:\forshock\hmi\database, etc.). We then setup the backup software to create a daily incremental backup to a network storage device. We also create a new full backup after two weeks.
If you dont use scheduling backups, try to make it a habit to create a copy after every change to the process.
