thax Khalid for trying to help me. but i was asking about L3. i mean where can find it in the Lookout. and what does it mean. i knew about them from the example included in the applications folder ...

Manal,

These L3Pot and L3Switches are legacy Objects from Lookout 3.x.  You don't get to create these in newer versions of Lookout -- unless by using the INI entry mentioned in the KB article above.  Once you add the INI entry and relaunch Lookout, you will see these in the list of Objects. 

Please let me know if I am still misunderstanding your query.
