Making a phone call from Lookout?

Hi,

How can I dial out from Lookout via modem to
play prerecorded .wav�s until another party
disconnects / or a timeout occurs?

In other words I need to have a voice
messaging to report alarm conditions.

This would be a nice alternative to paging.

Lookout is known to work with third-party telphone alarm systems like Win911

OK, but that's not quite what I'm looking for.

It's a bit frustrating that Lookout can't simply
dial out via com port.

Sergei, if your Lookout PC is connected to local plc, then you could:
1. connect a phone in parallel with line going to modem used to page
2. use PLC output to activate relay that took this phone off hook
3. set alarm to play wave file thru pc speaker near phone

Whatever alarm condition causes page could be used to start this
sequence.
