As I wrote, I have resolved the problem by not using Lookout 6.1 long ago.
Opto 22 software used, has OPC 2.0, it has to be set as that.
Fortunately, the IT department here is still using XP everywhere in the company, there is no need to migrate to Lookout 6.1

The error is running lookout 6.1 and the opto22 server.,which i presume is vers 1.0,2.0 compliant. running 3.8 and the server works no problem on vers 1.0 opc tags.

I assume you are saying there is issues with Xp and lookout 6.1 (including problems with connection to the opto22 server) and that version 6.0 is a better bet for that particular windows version.
