Lookout OPC Data Member Configuration window forgets alias is a logical/numeric

I've built an OPC client database in Lookout with a bunch of aliases.  Several of them are logical registers on the PLC that I have configured to generate a logical alarm in a specific group.  Now when I open the data member configuration window those registers are set as "numeric" rather than "logical".  If I set it to "logical", then the alarm info pops up with the correct info.  If I exit and come back into this window, the signal type for that alias will revert to "numeric".  This phenomenon is very repeatable with some of the logical aliases but not all.

Is this just a cosmetic bug or does it affect whether the alarms are actually generated?  I don't have access to my customer's system any longer so I can not check this directly.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I did some tests with Lookout and an OPC Server. If an item is numeric, even if I set it to logic, next time when I configure it will display as numeric. So, I guess the problem is in OPC Server. I guess in OPC Server its type is numeric. Lookout OPC client doesn't know the item's type, it gets the type from the OPC Server.
