A NI tech note states to use  NationInstruments.LookOutOPCServer  as the OPC server name.  Is this correct ?  When launching Lookout out of the box,  does this OPC Server also launch, or does one need to configre separately

Actually this OPC Server is always there. It is registered, and you can connect it even if you don't launch Lookout. This OPC Server exports all the items in running lookout process.
