Lookout Server / Client

I am running Lookout on one computer (The server) and have made all connections
to my fieldpoint moduals "absolute". This computer has a shared sub-directory
with the .LP4 files I need. I also have a second computer running Lookout
(The client) and it is looking at the shared sub-directory and the .LP4 files.
The client runs fine until I "log out". At this point, the client's connections
stop and I get the red "x" across all controls. This does clear as soon as
I "log in" again. Any Ideas?

Hi Mark,

For your Client Lookout, are you using the same L4P as the Server? And using
this L4P on the Client across the network?

This ain't no good idea 🙂 .. The right way of connecting a Client to the
Server is to have it's own process file(s) which look at the Server.

And what exactly do you mean by "log" here.. you mean log in/out of Lookout..
or your machine.. which is?.. 98/NT?
