Lookout adjusting system time

I have a Lookout system that has been sitting around running under WinNT for about 5 years. In the last few months, when I check up on it, there is a stack of events listed in the alarm manager saying the system time has been adjusted by some amount. Is Lookout doing this? Is it connecting to a time server somewhere? I don't recall setting anything up to do this, but then it was 5 years or more ago, and involved alot of late nights. I'm assuming the clock has started drifting.  At least never saw this in the the first few years. Introduced in a win update maybe?

Are there any changes happened to your windows system time? If the windows time changes, Lookout will do time synchronization.
Another possibility is that your lookout process changes Lookout time programmatically and then it is adjusted according to the windows time.
You can try to configure the time synchronization in Lookout. If you add the local computer as the Time Server, the Lookout time will be no longer adjusted, no matter if the windows time changes.

Would the (recent) Daylight savings time change make such an entry?

"Adding local computer as Time Server" Is this done in Lookout(or MAX) or the Adjust System Clock in Windows? I don't remember seeing a Time Server option in NT. If that is what is doing it, mayeb the CMOS clock on the motherboard is drifting and getting corrected.

I disable the automatic CST/DST switching in windows,  and this is happening every few days, so tht's not it.

Actually, we should really migrate to a newer machine running win2K or XP, under a fresh install of Lookout. This behavior will probably disappear then.

Thanks guys!

It is done in Lookout. Option->Time Synchronization...
It is for time synchronization between Lookout processes. See help file for more information.
