Lookout files that cause Lookout to poll?

In Lookout 5.0, what files (i.e., lkworks.dll) are responsible for making Lookout poll? I am still having a problem where Lookout stops polling sites and resumes once I restart. I have defragged my computer, recompiled my Lookout file, cleared my database and still the problem comes back. I am at a loss and this is very frustrating. My computer is a 2.20 Ghz Dell PWS340 running Windows XP with 1Gb RAM.

I'm not sure if your problem is related to the problem I recently had. I had a system that would stop polling and after restart it would go back to working normally. After days of troubleshooting, I figured out that for some reason my COMM PORT on the PC itself was locking up. I switched to a different COMM PORT and it has been working fine ever since.

Thanks for the input. I just ordered a NI RS232 USB serial port converter that will add 4 serial ports to my computer. If I have the same problem as you did then hopefully this will get rid of it.
