I have two problems with the Lookout state file:
1 The state file will not update. I changed settings in Modify Process
and changed them back to what I wanted. After this the state file was
updated for a few hours, then it stopped again.
2 Is there a way that the state file can be re instated after a system
rebuild. I tried "save standby state file" and that works on the running
system. ( I can delete the real state file and Lookout uses the standby
state file OK) However if I try to copy all process files ( LKS, L4P,
LKA, L4T ) to another PC running the same build of Lookout the process
starts without the last state of the first PC. (everything reset to
zero). I tried naming the new PC the same as the first, and even copying
the security file o
ver, but this didn't help.
I can't use a full standby PC, which seems to be the preferred way to
achieve what I want.
