Hello,
Does anybody have an experience with migration of a Lookout version 3.8.13 (or any other close version), working today in a Win XP Pro environment, to a Win7 or Win8, 32 or 64 bits environment.?
Our customer's PC seems "dead' and we need replacing it.

Seriously. We just did this and are having issues with alarm printing, security, etc. Support is non-existent. I mean Zero. You email them a question and wait two days for their response which goes something like this:"please make sure the printer is turned on". Your project will mostly convert over without issue, but if you are printing to a line printer for alarms, be ready for issues. Your security settings will also have problems, most likely. We wish we'd have gone another route at this point.

Yes, the support for NI is really lacking. However, if you have a very customized, large process the costs are something to consider.
I have moved many systems from 4.5/5 to 6.7 without major issue.
Also, consider using Windows 8.1 Pro vs. Windows 7. I have had good results thus far.
