OPC error message

Hi:

I'd to share a field point file (.iak) between an VB 6.0 application and
Lookout 3.8 via OPC. In the VB app. works good but when I try to use it with
the OPCClient object in Lookout Shows me an Error "OPC/OLE error(1):OPC server
out range" or " OPC/OLE error(1): reading from OPC server (20):RPC server
is unaviable"
need some help

Did you try this with Lookout when your VB app is not running? Does that work? How about a "third" OPC Client, like, e.g., Server Explorer?
