Saving tables in excel 3.0 with Lookout

Lookout 6.1 when exports a table is in excel 2.1 format. Is there any way around to export that data table in Excel 3.0 or higher?

Not unless NI devs upgrade it.

Any particular reason it has to be 3?

Yes, there is a data table that is exported at midnight from Lookout 6.1 to the hard drive with the configuration (names) assigned to the inputs. t5his system is running 24/7 and as a part of the design, it does collect data in csv format. This is being move across the network to a dedicated computer for analysis of the data collected. This dedicated computer uses OLE CUBE with Excel 2007 for data analysis. Simply; Excel 2007 can not open files saved in 2.1. We must open the 2.1 file and save it manually into 3.0 or higher. We want to make the transference and data process automatic, we need the configuration file saved in 3.0 minimum when exported from Lookout 6.1.

Excel 2007 uses a different file format, and no longer supports the worksheet format. I have to say Lookout cannot work with Excel 2007 now.

We are to add this feature, but no definite time line.

What I need is to save in excel 3.0 the datatable that is in Lookout 6.1.

Then, Excel 2007 can open the spreadsheet in 3.0 format.

That is all.

Thanks!
