Sending alarm email via mailer object to addresses in progressive order

I have been asked to create a mailer object that will send email to cellphones in the event of certain alarms. The request is that email should be sent to one email address first, then if the alarm is not acknowledged, a second email address will receive an email. Is this possible in Lookout 6.0? If so, how do I accomplish this?

It's easy to send the email. But it seems impossible to get to know if an alarm has been acknowledged.

Can't we create an Alarm Area exclusively for this particular alarm, and then use its "unacked" datamember?

Yes, it can be a workaround.  If unacked is not zero, there are one or more alarms unacknowledged.

But the only defect is that you need to create a new alarm area, even an mailer object for each alarm you want to monitor.
