Just wondering if anyone has tried taking an existing live data panel and modifying it to work via SQL. (possibilities.....sql statements as expressions?, symbolic link manipulations with sql?) Of course I'm looking for a .lks search and replace solution if possible (lots of data objects on these client panels).
It is amazing how dependent people are on seeing data displayed the way they are used to seeing it live. I don't want to design a bunch of custom forms to populate with sqlexec results....(if I can help it). The idea is to be able to scroll back or use list-box/other-control to select a date and time for existing panel data population.
Brainstorming only....any and all crazy ideas welcome.
