Hello Andrew,
When the connection is terminated are you getting any errors or alarms? If so what are they? Also you can try to replace the object that is connected to the PLC and make sure it has the correct settings. It may also be due intermittent networking issues, losing connection and not able to connect with the object again unless Lookout is restarted again. I have not heard about any such networking issues. The attached document can be used for reference.

Hi there,
When this happens, all objects connected to the PLC object appear with a red cross over them. I receive connection loss alarms for the two PLC devices configured.
If there are intermittent network failures/bumps, should the device not automatically connect back up when network connectivity resumes? As I mentioned, the connections work for days before failing, so I can't see this being a configuration issue.

Hello Andrew,
First we need to make sure if the issue is with Lookout, meaning if the connection loss occurs due to Lookout or other external factors. Are there any error messages that pop up when this occurs? Or is there a specific timeline before the connection fails? Are you aware of any other external changes associated with the process that changes, which in turn results in the connection loss? We should be able to narrow down the issue before we can troubleshoot.
