Ultra DI 50 PMS object

I am trying to pull some information out a PMS Ultra DI 50 particle unit. The unit has an Ethernet connection and uses a proprietary TCP/IP protocol for communications. I was wondering if anyone has created a driver object for this instrument yet?

If (a big IF!) the protocol for your device comprises of very simple commands, you can try using the IPASCII object in Lookout and "create" your own driver.

Because of the complexity of the commands and the proprietary nature of the protocol, the IPASCII object has problems connecting with the unit. A custom driver written for these units will probably be the only solution, thus I am searching for such a driver before I dedicate a large chunk of time to the task.
