What are Lookout's RPMxxx ActiveX controls?

There are three ActiveX controls which start with RPM. What are they? What are they used for?

I don't think Lookout installs those ActiveX controls. They have very likely been installed by some pther piece of software on the machine.

Lookout lists all ActiveX controls found on the system. If you check the Categorize box in the Object Create dialog you will see two folders for ActiveX controls -- Recommended and Other. Almost all the ones in Recommended are installed by Lookout. The ones in Other are just those found on the system.

You may want to create Objects for these RPM controls and try looking at their properties to get an idea what they do.

Hope this helps.

Khalid

thanks a lot, I did what you say and got no idea about what they do...:(

Anyway, your answer was very useful to understand why lookout shows different controls on different systems.
