Why aren't properties listed as connections?

While learning Lookout Direct (V 4.5.1 build 19) I have started wonder why object properties aren't simply listed as connections?  Most of the time I end up using a connection to a data member in the properties anyway so it would only seem natural to group properties and connections.

Examples include Accumulators, Maximums, Minimums, MultiStates, and Pipes... In the case of the Maximums and Minimums I find it frustrating that the Reset property (only resetting the current value) and the DataReset connection (resetting all object values) must be accessed through different menus.  It would be nice to be able to edit both of these at the same time!

I am also wondering if the current version of Lookout has improved the user interface much since V 4.5.1 b19.  Especially when editing object properties, connections, and database fields.  I find it frustrating to use the main menu to access the object explorer, connection browser, database editor, and connection editor - a hotkey for each of these would have me considering purchasing the new version!!  Furthermore, it would be nice to be able to view the connection browser while working with the database editor and connection editor (instead of having to close the connection browser, then traverse through the menu to open the connection editor and...  ARGH!)  Being able to delete an existing connection without having to edit the connection, delete the value, accept the value, and then delete the connection would be wonderful as well.  I memorized the series of tab/delete/enter keystrokes to do this when deleting many connections at once but it was still a pain.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks, Dave.
Those are really good suggestions. I will forward to our developers.
But unfortunately Lookout is still running in this way.
