Write commands will not latch even when the latch checkbox is checked

I have buttons to place the wells in/out of service.  When I press the button my indicator changes then immediately changes back.  I checked the latch output checkbox but still get the same result.  Any suggestions?

If you click a pushbutton with Latch output disabled, the remote signal keeps ON until you release the pushbutton.

When you click a Pushbutton with Latch output enabled, the Pushbutton remains depressed until the remote position signal turns ON. Then the remote signal goes OFF immediately.

Is it same as the behaviour you saw?
