I have been trying to add retrieving a lot number to old package already installed.

I can not get dde to connect to access 97. It will work to excel.

I also could not get SQLExec object configured. It did nor like select and
it did not like enclosing in " "

Any Help would be appreciated

There are new resources that are available in the Resource Library under the Developer Zone. There is an example for setting up a DDE communication with Access.
