Can I display expressions in text format, but change the background color from gray (off state) to red (on state), without having to create and import graphics?
I'm a new user and have the exact question. Was it ever answered? Although, I want to use a V memory addres with 0 = Off, 1 = enabled Not Running, 2 = Enabled Running, 3 = Fault.

It seems to be necessary with more than 2 states to have to create bitmaps, such as for V memory addresses, and use the multistate instruction. If a simple High=1 Low=0 address there is a very nice method. Insert Expression - Display Type make it logical - Once correct expression is displayed in expression box Ex: PLC_RS232.Y0 a Display logical signal faceplate appears. There is an On - Off text selection (allowing editable text and background).
