I'm modifying a version 4.0.1 Lookout program and Lookout shutsdown frequently with error messages such as:
The instruction at '0x00395563' referenced memory at '0x6c39afcf'. The memory could not be "written".
Could this be because I'm not connected to the PLC that has tags being referenced or what could be the problem.

The crash file is the Citadel 4 database service. It's probably because the database has the problem.
Create a new database by MAX(Measurement Automation Explorer), and set the new database in Lookout. Also detach(not delete) the old database in MAX.
If it doesn't crash with the new database, the old one may be corrupted. You can attach the old one again. If you need the historical data, you can archive the data from old database to the new one.
You can also upgrade the Logos and the Citadel 4 database. Here is the installer of Logos 4.5.1.

Ryan,
Thanks for the reply, it is much appreciated. I'm not a frequent user of Lookout so I'm not familiar with the "MAX" software, I don't think we have it.
Is this something I can download of of your website?
Also, if I update Citadel and Logos via your link will that solve the problem?
