lookout communication errors

I have an installation of Lookout 4 talking to and FP-1000, but the communication is intermittent.  The problem has slowly gotten worse over time, but at this point it is bad enough that the system cannot be used.  I have already tried increasing timeouts, etc., etc.  Any thoughts?

Can you give me some more details about the problem? How are communicating with the FP-1000, are you using Fieldpoint object or OPCClient connected to Fieldpoint OPC? What errors are you getting in the alarm window? In the mean time, please go through this tutorial if the problem you have is related to this link.
