Hello.
Computer A runs Excel, and computer B Lookout 6.0. I want to connect B to A and get the data from computer A Excel, Book1,cell r1c1 over the network (same subnet)
I followed the different tutorials on how to connect usind netDDE to excel, but I still cant get any data in to Lookout.
On computer A: MyExcel$ DDEShare, trusted share,started network dde and network ddedsdm services, excel file is open
On computer B: ddeobject in lookout: Service:\\abc-xp-d-it099\NDDE$ Topic: MyExcel$, Item: R1C1, started network dde and network ddedsdm services
I believe everything is correct but it will not connect! I tried swapping the comp. A name with the IP but with no luck.
Is there any bugs in xp, or any special tricks how to get it to work?
Is there a way to trouble shot the connection?
