hi
i have a problem with controlling a waveform (how to determine start  time and stop time. also how to control the waveform using a switch ( provide us some examples if possilbe)

what do you mean by "control a waveform using a switch"?.
The only two datamembers of a waveform object for you to control are "sample" and "reset".
