SystemBuild shut down in 2000/XP

Hello out there,

This is not really a big problem, more a nuisance: systembuild (vs 7.01) does not close normally on a W2000 system (it closes but with an error message) and does not close at all on an XP system (has to be killed by forcing it to close or through the task manager).
It doe not seem to make any difference if you have actually been doing soemthing with systembuild or not.
Anyone got the same problems, and preferably a sollution? Or do we just wait for the new 7.0 release?

Kind regards,

Hugo

Hugo,
What is the error message that you receive? Also are you loading any libraries by default? I am able to open and close SystemBuild on both Windows 2000 and XP with out getting any error message.

Also just a reminder that MATRIXx 7.0 is not officially supported on XP.

Hugo,

I would like to add that NI has released MATRIXx 6.3, our first release of the software suite since we acquired it in January. MATRIXx 6.3 is built on version 6.2.2 and validated for use under Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP and Solaris 9.

MATRIXx 6.3 is both backward and forward compatible. The software features an array of updates and enhancements, including:

· Improved data visualization
· Greater diagram printing control
· More comprehensive help
· Enhanced modeling capabilities in SystemBuild

We are going to incorporate improvements we made to MATRIXx 6.3 plus many of the features found in MATRIXx 7.0 in future versions of MATRIXx. These versions will be validated to work under the latest O/S.

For additional details on MATRIXx 6.3, ple
ase contact Marcus Lites at marcus.lites@ni.com

Thanks.
