1409 in a PXI chassis

We recently bought a PXIe chassis and requested all the HW be loaded prior to shipment.  The 1409 card however was shipped separetly and we are having issues installing it.  The OS is not detecting the card even though we have both the NI-IMAQ and NI Vision Acq software installed.  I tried following the troubleshooting guide in the KB, however is suggests manually installing the device and I cannot find it on the cards listed under National Instruments Devices.

Searching for the install library also didn't offer any solutions. Is there something specific that needs to occur for it to identify on a PXI?

Hi Kevin,

A good troubleshooting step to take at this point is to confirm that the NI-IMAQ driver installed correctly.  Just open the Measurement & Automation Explorer (Start » All Programs » National Instruments » Measurement & Automation).  Under the "Configuration" panel on the left, expand the "My System" tree, and the "Software" tree under that.  Verify that NI-IMAQ 4.0 is included in the list.  If it is not, you can install it at the following link: Vision Acquisition Software.
