3D contour plot of an image

I want to plot a 3D contour plot of intensity in an image. I've attached a sample image. Awaiting for suggestions.

how about using the "IMAQ 3D View". Please see the attached code saved for LV2010.

... or perhaps something like this with 3d plot (see the attachment). I suggest using "render window" since there is no data reduction.

It works fine! Thanks a lot for the reply.

The contours on the surface of the apple are coming out significantly.

Is it possible to rotate ,the IMAQ3D view output, in different directions like in 3D plot?

Hello,

yes there is limited rotation, though you can't use your mouse directly. Take a look at the "direction", "alpha" and "beta" parameters in the help section.
