Acquisition Problem w/PCI-1422

I could not get an installed PCI-1422 IMAQ board to grab or snap in Measurement and Automation Explorer (v3.02). Windows XP recognized the card and the driver v2.61 had been installed. I was using a new motherboard (Gigabyte Tech - based on the Intel 865G chipset). All diagnostics passed - but there was obviously something wrong with the DMA transfer of data between the IMAQ and the motherboard. A co-worker at our parent company remembered that they had seen similar issues and that hyperthreading technology needed to be disabled for the acquisition to work properly. This turned out to be the case.

Just thought I would let everyone else know in case it had not already been posted; seems like there were other cards that had similar PCI bus issues.
