Bug: documentation for "Immediate?" argument of "IMAQ Grab Acquire" seems wrong

Solved!
Go to solution

The documentation for IMAQ Grab Acquire says that the a value of TRUE for the "Immediate?" argument causes the function to return the "next" acquired image.  It seems that this should probably be the "last" acquired image, since returning the next image would imply waiting until the next image is acquired, which is not immediate.

Hello Jim,

Thank you so much for the report. I've already reported this to our R&D and it should be addressed.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for reporting this to R&D.

Also, can you please confirm whether this is a bug or not?  And, if so, can you please (1) tell me what the documentation should say and (2) provide me with a CAR#?

Thank you,

-Jim

Hello Jim,

CAR#174374, I believe that it should say to return the "last" imaged acquired instead. I'll keep you updated on the status of the CAR.

Have a great day!
