Can I generate pulse trains on the PCIe-1427 without waiting for frames to be acquired?

I think I am beginning to understand how to properly solve my problem.  I will have to talk with Matworks to see if I can configure the trigger appropriately through their interface.  Your explanation for how things fit together is very helpful.  Is this written down somewhere?  Could you point me to something I can read that would give me the overview for how the system is designed to function.  

I will hopefully post my progress soon...

Other than the manuals, I don't know of any documentation that explains this.
