Chameleon with LabView

Is there an updated procedure to be able to use PointGrey Chameleon camera in LabView?

What specific version of LabView and/or NIDAQ or NInnnnnn have to be installed?

Camera does work with DIRECT SHOW program.

I have the latest firmware on the camera.

I have the drivers registered using the new flyCAP utility.

We are trying to convert our older programs using firewire camera on XP to Win7 and USB camera.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello pavel,

Since it looks like your USB camera is DirectShow compliant, it should work fine. You just need to install LabVIEW and the Vision Acquisition Software with the IMAQdx driver. This article details "Troubleshooting USB Directshow Cameras", and the first section on "Software Compatibility" details the software you need.
