Changing from an 8-bit input to 16-bit input, vi stops working

Hello,

My vi works perfect in 8-bit (mono mode) with my CCD camera, but when I change the input to 16-bit through M&A the vi stops working or stops after the first frame. Is it a problem with vi, IMAQdx or do I need to change something else in M&A? I'll appreciate any ideas on where to begin to debug the issue....

In image type have you defined 16 bit?

Could you provide a little bit more information about the error that you are receiving?

I'll be happy to, but it's not an "official" error. The vi receives the first frame/image, and then nothing happens. There is no failure per se. As I mentioned above the vi works fine in the 8-bit mode. I'll be happy to provide more information, if you'll give me specific things to look for.

Can you post your vi? Or a screen shot?
