Detect Texture is not performing what i required

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to detect the crack of solar cell as shown in image however the code is not showing me any detection. Can anyone please help me finding the crack.

Hi lazer, Its good to open a thread. find the attachment of image of local threshold binary output of the solar cell. Its seems to be complicated with the texture analysis. may this method will help you.. Post original image for better response from the forum, dont share the screen shot.

I tried to follow threshold analysis and made a VI as well but do not know why it is not working. I have attached my VI. Can you look at and help me please.

Hi Lazer, 

From your VI, I see that you have 3 instances of 'IMAQ Create'. When you create an instance of an image, it creates a reference to your image that is altered by each VI that carries out a function on it. As is, you have created 3 new image references but carrying through the reference to the first image. I recommend removing these extra 2 'IMAQ Create' functions. 

Also, you need to provide more information on the issues you are experiencing. What error messages do you receive? What do the error messages suggest as cause/location of the error?

Hello Ali,

actually this VI does not show any  however there is no output image is as well. I am working on some other tasks these days and will come back to threshold again in couple of weeks and will upload more VIs to get help. Anyway thank you very much for those images critical errors which I made in this VI. This peice of information will help me in future. Thank you
