Distorted Image

I am getting the attached distorted image.  There is a discolored bar at the top, and the bar on the left hand side belongs on the right hand side.

I'm using an IMAQdxSnap and am planning to run it through a color filter to generate a binary image, but can't figure out the distortion.

Any help?

I could not find attached file (could you mail it to me ) but the question is that if you want make binary image so why you work on color image?!

convert it to gray scaled and you threshold to create binary image in this case there is no color distortion ( if your meanns from color distortion is color Aberrations)

Do you see the same failure if you do a continuous Grab? Is it just the first image that gets this corruption?

What kind of camera are you using?

ohh next time i couldn't see your image
what your image show is relate for ccd mismatching
check these bellow items for test
1 try to grab several time if error exist go step two
2 check if any nosie soruce is around your camera even circuit of power supply for one 1 wat LED could make such thing ( I had encounter in one of my project)
3 check your cable of your camera esp if it is bnc what is not broken or ruined
4 check your camera power supply
