Does Vision Builder v 1.0 provide video playback

I have Vision Builder v 1.0 and would like to be able to record a process and play it back in slow motion. Does this software have that capability and if not, can someone suggest a program that will do this?

Belfield,

You will not be able record your inspection and play it back in slow motion using the vision builder.  On the other hand, since you are using Vision builder you are probably using the NI IMAQ Driver.  With the NI IMAQ Driver and LabVIEW, C, or Visual Basic you can save the images acquired by your camera and play them back in slow motion.

Can you reply to this posting telling me if you have LabVIEW, C, or Visual Basic?

If you do not have any of the above development environments,  I would recommend purchasing LabVIEW.  You will be able to do what you want in LabVIEW.

Thanks Lorne, I appreciate the feedback.

I did buy Vision Builder v 1.0 as well as IMAQ PCI-1409 and NI-IMAQ. I had a fellow set the equipment up to record images of a high speed process and determine some dimensions from that process. Now I have a use for slow speed playback on a different process and thought my equipment could do this.

I'll look into buying LabView for this - perhaps NI has a demo I could try out. Not being comfortable with this stuff, I need to get one of our engineers to take this on.
