Hi!
I have already searched through the forums and have tried all of the solutions but I'm still getting the Serial termination string was not found in the returned buffter. I have updated all of my drivers to the latest version. I'm using the NI 1433 Framegrabber with an AVT Bonito CL- 400B camera. I downloaded the camera file and put it in the correct directory and it shows up on MAX but when I try to snap or grab I keep getting error messages. AVT said that the file for CMC-4000 would work for the camera as well (the only difference is the baud rate), but that is receiving the same error message. When I switch the camera link cables I receive a time out error 0xBFF60093. Please let me know if anyone has found a way to solve this issue!

More than two years ago I have been using a Bonito attached to a NI-1433. At that time I noticed on my disk differnt *.icd with different settings: One contained "TermChars (>)". The other contained "TermChars ()" without the greater sign in it. (I do not remember any issues with the *.icd.)
I do not remember any issues with the camera, either. And yes, confirmation: The CMC-4000 mow is the Bonito, so the camera file should match.
However the 1433 must operate in a properly working x4 slot - MAX told me when it was unsatisfied with the slot for the 1433 ...
I am not sure if this might fix your 0xBFF60092 issue.
Good luck.

Hey GuenterMueller,
Thank you so much for your response! I changed the *icd. file from TermChars () to TermChars (>). It still isn't taking snaps but it gave me a new error Error 0xBFF6002C FIFO overflow caused acquisition to halt. Maybe I can get somewhere with this? I have my 1433 in a 16x slot but I though usually thats ok for a 4x slot and I haven't gotten any error messages referencing that.

Now you get a FIFO overflow error: Seems like my proposal with the TermChars was a really bad one. Sorry for that ...

Same with me: But my mainboard had a x16 that even the 1433 wasn't satisfied with. (I move my graphics card to that slot :))
Again: MAX told me when the 1433 wasn't satisfied with the slot.
I have no more good ideas right now ...

I'll try switching my 1433 with the graphics card. Thank you!!

It was not my intention to see you do any additional work without sense ... I hope this action takes you one step further ...
