Error -1074397163 occurred at IMAQ Attribute.vi

Hi!
I am trying to launcg the following program that I have attached but it is giving me this error: "Error -1074397163 occurred at IMAQ Attribute.vi"

it also says that possible reasons;NI-IMAQ:  The passed in interface or session is invalid.

what is that mean?

I need help!!

Hi beckology,

For future errors, most of the error codes are documented in a KnowledgeBase. You can do a search on the error number on www.ni.com to find these KBs.

Here is a link to the KB on IMAQ error codes, including this one:

It basically says that you have selected an Interface Name that is not present on your system. So be sure you are selecting the correct interface.

In your case it may also be because you do not have any thing wired to the first IMAQ Attribute VI as far as you are not setting or getting a value...or you may be trying to read an attribute that is not available for your particular camera.
