External trigger with VBAI 2.01

Hi, in first sorry for my bad english,
working with VBAI (ver 1.0 and 2.01) and NI1407 I have encountered some problem using the external trigger for the acquistion of an image.
In fact the software limit the timeout at 1 minute.
I have contacted our technical support, and they was very polite and efficient, finding to solve my problem, bat this means not easy.

I belive it, and I'm not disappointed.

The question is: why is so complicated change this timeout clipping extending it to 8 or 9 minute?

Michele,

Unfortunately they were correct with VBAI there are some limitations. This is one of them. This can be changed if the program is done in LabVIEW.

We do not build the application in LabWIEW because one of the requirements of the customer was to be able to modify or build new inspection following the variation in the product.
