Guppy Color camera is happened "timeout" in white balance "one shot" function

Dear 1394 camera Users

I use Guppy F-033C and LabVIEW driver (NI-Imaq for 1394 version 2.0.5, NI-Imaqdx 3.2)

I set up Format 7, Bayer and White balance one push”, save the parameter and then grab start,

then finally camera is happened Time out error. I try to test it with Lagacy and NI Imaq DX and then find out same trouble.(Please see my attached files)

And I tested all model of AVT camera (Guppy, Marlin, and stingray) and then, same trouble.

When I test it with The AVT camera own driver then the act is normal. (not problem)

but, only use with NI driver then happen " time out"

Please, advice about this problem and, I want to know about the another maker of 1394 cameras? same or not, If somebody had a experience about it then answer to me And one more, if I use the auto function like white balance auto, or one push”, shutter speed auto, Then how can I find the current value in auto mode?

Please check them all and advice to me.

Have a good day

Did you sort this out as I'm seeing the exact same problem with my StingRay camera?

Redfield,

would you please upload screenshot of all your settings, not only white balancing?

Dear muks

This issue is limited that I used NI-Imaq dx of legacy driver.

When I use this camera with own driver, then everything is OK.

so, could you advice me in detail or information about my problem when I use LabVIEW with this camera?

I still have a problem now, could anybody helps me in this case.

To anybody, who is confronted with this problem:

This effect is only appearing in MAX, when first starting "One Push" and than the Grab Image. One needs to call the One Push during freerun of the camera and not before starting it.

The camera grabs internally images, if applying a OnePush and not running. If this is happening when starting the camera grab, the camera is busy and seems not to be accessible from the NI driver, leading to the timeout.
Alternatively does the AutoWB always work!

The actual value of the function can be read back in the appropriate register (F0F0080Ch for White Balance U/B and V/R values) under LabView. It seems that MAX does not read back this value to prevent permanent polling of the function registers.

Hope that helps, to shed some light on this issue and prevents from getting the error message.
