I wiewed all example that has imaq vision builder version 6.1and on they, the image are good contrast (bright background and dark particle) for do particle analysis.

How I can get this contrast for my image?

Hello,

It appears that the image did not get attached.  I have a few general suggestions for Vision applications.  One good source of information is the Vision Concepts Manual that comes with Vision.  Most of the sections from this manual are also available online in tutorials.

Another good tutorial is "Adaptive Thresholding in IMAQ Vision."  This could be useful for obtaining the binary threshold image.  From there, you could use particle analysis to characterize the weld.  The "Performing a Particle Analysis" tutorial has some additional information on this.

Good luck with your application!
