HOW TILE SMALL IMAGES TO MAKE A BIG IMAGE

Hi,my dear ones..

I am a mtech student.As a part of my project work i want to make tile small images(1024*768pix) to make images of the order of 100 small images in one row and 100 images in one column.Now iam stuck with this problem, can anyone could help me.,.. its very helpfull to me...

Problem not solved. I want to make a big image from a library of small images using indexing. Also the format of big image is in the form of jpeg.
