Hi, I am an IMAQ beginner. Can anyone tell me how to use "Labview commands" to output the coordinates of a target point found in IMAQ Pattern Matching? Thanks!

I tried to add some labview commands into the vi program created by IMAQ Pattern Matching scrip to output the coordinates of a target point found in Pattern Matching because i need to do some calculations for the point coordinates and I don't want just to read the values from the IMAQ results on the monitor. Does anyone can help me? Thank you.

I may be interpretting your question incorrectly, if so please forgive me and specify it more clearly.

It sounds to me like you have created a VI using Vision Builder and are trying to customize it in LabVIEW but are not familiar with porgraming techniques in LabVIEW.

The results you speak of actually come from the block diagram to the front panel. By double clicking on the front panel indicator it should show you were in your code the results come from so that you can use them programatically.

I highly recomend going throught the getting started documentation which ships with LabVIEW or looking at some of the online tutorials in our LabVIEW ZONE Learning Center.
