Hi, Christopfer,
You can use IMAQdx Enumerate Cameras.vi for getting the list of all cameras. (of course, here I assumed that IMAQdx used for connection to IEEE-1394 camera).
Another way is CameraValidator.exe utility with /ENUM key - this will also enumerates the available cameras.
best regards,
Andrey.

Now why didn't I think of that? 🙂 Thanks Andrey.
Note to admin: I tried to mark the reply as a solution, but an NI employee beat me to it - that's a little egotistical, isn't it? Why not let the community decide what is and what isn't a solution?

Wait... I didn't mark anything as a solution. Actually, I just wanted to point out that Andrey had a great answer.
I'm not saying that you did, but someone did. I just figured it'd be a more socially trustworthy system if the person who asked the question could try out the different answers and mark the solution.

Sounds good. It doesn't look like it is marked as a solution any more... maybe it was removed?
Yeah - that's odd. Oh well, I've marked it as a solution, so we're back to where we started 🙂

Hi Chris,
The "Options" for a reply (far top right corner of the reply) allows you to un-mark a message as a solution.
