Hi,
I am a Student Agricultural Engineering form the Netherlands. For my thesis I work with a machine vision program. In this program I want to build the Fourier Mellin Transform. With this transform I will be able to scale and rotate objects. At this moment I don't know how to make this transform in Labview (I use version 8.0). Could you give advise on how to build it.

Hello HWWollie,
thank you for your post on our webforum. I couldn't find any information abput mellin transform. I found on a Wiki how to transform a two sided laplace to a mellin. The laplace function is available in Labview.
I hope this helps you further,
Best regards,

Hi HWWollie
Thank you for interesting question.
There is good example of the Fourier Mellin Transform in the Matlab Central file exchange. They use the code there for image registration. If you look at the comments it is not always working. But I think you could take the code from Matlab and run it as Matlab code or better convert the logic to LabVIEW.

hi HWWollie,
I dont know how to implement Fourier Mellin transform in Labview 8.0 but i am attaching a link of a paper in which the implementation of this transform is
clearly given. It is not difficult to implement by writing your own code in matlab or any other software of that kind. Here is the link to the paper : http://www.mirlab.org/conference_papers/International_Conference/DAFx%202004/Proc/P_065.pdf . I am also attaching the pdf of this file.
