This thread is quite old, I think you'd get more traffic on a new thread.  Also, we recommend keeping it to one issue per thread so it helps other users search the forums.

You should watch this link: Saving Images with a Real Time Camera . I had problems with the rate frame at saving images, it was reduced due to the time needed to save every image. If you can keep the same frame rate with your camera, you may post it.

Just another factor to consider...

If you are recording a lot of images in individual files in Windows it can get a bit unmanageable as Windows doesn't like too many files in a folder. It takes forever to open the folder in Explorer, to list the folder contents in LabVIEW, etc.
