How to save an image with text,lines etc drawn on it?

Hi,
I need to save an image, which has lines and some text displayed on it, in TIFF format.I am unable to find a way to do this using any of the vis supplied along with IMAQ.

It depends on what you are using to create your lines and text.

If you are using a picture control, you should be able to retrieve the contents using an invoke node. However, there is no way to write a TIFF file.

If you are using the IMAQ Vision Toolkit, you can write a TIFF file. This will only work if you use the drawing tools to add your lines and text. It is not currently possible to combine overlays with an image.

As Bruce mentioned, saving non-destructive overlays to an image is currently not a supported feature, but here are some links to examples that may help.....
